| Business Description Summary: | PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Our onsite backup and disaster recovery patented thermal technology protects electronic equipment from fire and water. Proof of concept products have been developed for computer hard disks which provide protection from extreme fires and floods. The devices have been successfully tested to UL-72-150-1 hr 1700ºF for fires and 10 meters & 7 days submersion for water. Backup, Disaster Recovery and Data Security applications within corporate, government and military environments are initial markets for the technology. Other novel uses of the IP are being investigated, along with the market potential of each. The initial market targeted is in protecting storage devices; hard disks and SSDs (solid state drives). Public and private companies, government agencies and military branches have a responsibility and in many cases regulatory duty to protect the integrity of their critical electronic data. Unfortunately, the cost and complexity of meeting these responsibilities can result either in failure to comply, or unacceptable complexity and cost.
